Agreement
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to Emerson Colleagues operated by Emerson Group. By signing in or using the portal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
Access is limited to current Emerson Group staff who hold the required Discord roles in our official server. We may revoke access at any time if your role changes, your employment ends, or you breach these Terms.
Your account
You sign in using Discord OAuth. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Discord account secure.
Optional Roblox linking connects your staff profile to your Roblox identity for team sync and internal tooling. You must only link accounts you own or are authorised to use.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Share login access or attempt to bypass role-based permissions.
- Use the portal for unlawful, harassing, or discriminatory activity.
- Upload malware, scrape data without authorisation, or interfere with platform operation.
- Misrepresent your identity, falsify records, or tamper with audit logs or ratings.
- Use internal data for personal purposes unrelated to Emerson Group operations.
Monitoring and quality review
Support messages in designated Discord channels may be ingested, stored, and analysed—including by automated tools—to assess quality, manage tickets, and support staff development. Managers may review ratings, tickets, warnings, and related records as part of legitimate supervision.
You acknowledge this monitoring is a condition of using staff systems.
Confidentiality
Information visible in the portal—including staff records, internal announcements, knowledge base content, and player support context—is confidential to Emerson Group. Do not disclose it outside the organisation except where required for your duties or permitted by management.
Intellectual property
The portal, its design, and Emerson Group materials accessible through it remain our property or that of our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable licence to use the portal solely for authorised staff purposes.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the portal available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, be suspended, or be withdrawn without notice for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, pose a security risk, or no longer qualify as staff. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including confidentiality and liability limits) will continue to apply.
Disclaimer
The portal is provided "as is" for internal business use. Automated ratings and analytics are advisory tools only and do not, by themselves, determine employment outcomes. Managers remain responsible for final decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Emerson Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the portal. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
